Location
A prototype All Sky Imager will deployed at the
University of Northern British Columbia in the fall of 2003. This test will determine the viability of using the UNBC as a THEMIS GBO site.

We have been in contact with Frank VanderZande, the custodian of the Prince George SUPER Darn. Frank took the photos shown above and has been extremely helpful in these early stages.

Communication
The proposed deployement site has ready access to broadband internet. The cable will be run from the SUPER
Darn computer room to the camera via an access tube in
the roof (shown below).
Each THEMIS GBO Site will be equipped with an Iridium modem.
